If you’re an experienced and qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with a passion for supporting SMEs, then we’d love to hear from you.

To make it onto the Sagars team you’ll need to be a natural relationship builder and an enthusiastic team player with energy, commitment, a thirst for knowledge and a good sense of humour – if this sounds like you then you’ll fit right in, and that matters to us just much as your solid technical capabilities.

The opportunity

Working directly with our partners, whilst helping to lead and develop other team members, you will seize the opportunity to manage and nurture your own portfolio of small and medium sized business clients, striving to develop the long-term, trusted relationships that Sagars is built on and providing audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to help your clients achieve their life goals.

With interesting and varied clients across a range of sectors, based predominantly in Yorkshire but with national and international interests, we can guarantee that you’ll never be bored! Alongside your client work, you will also take an active role in winning new work and building the Sagars brand.

What we offer

We don’t just talk about a flexible working, we thrive on it, offering a standard 35-hour week, variable working arrangements, generous flexi-time arrangement and loyalty holidays, together with a competitive salary, paid overtime and contributory pension scheme.

Perhaps more important than all of this is that the average length of service at Sagars is 11 years, and two of our current partners and lots of our senior managers joined us as graduates – proof of our happy and supportive working environment, and the excellent career prospects that exist for the right people.
