If you’re a part-qualified accountant with a passion for supporting SMEs, then we’d love to hear from you.

To make it onto the Sagars team you’ll need to be a natural relationship builder and an enthusiastic team player with energy, commitment, a thirst for knowledge and a good sense of humour – if this sounds like you then you’ll fit right in, and that matters to us just much as your solid technical capabilities.  Competition is tough and you’ll need at least 12 months audit and accounts experience and ABB grades at A level (or equivalent). In addition, you’ll either be AAT level 4 qualified or have started your ACA / ACCA training to be considered.

The opportunity

As part of our Audit & Accounts team you will get direct exposure to a wide range of small and medium-sized business clients working either at clients’ premises, in our office or remotely. Because of the way we work, you’re also guaranteed hands-on experience in tax and advisory services, giving you the opportunity to develop the broad skillset that you’ll need to become an all-round business advisor. With interesting and varied clients across a range of sectors, based predominantly in Yorkshire but with national and international interests, we can guarantee that you’ll never be bored!
