I’ve experienced how positive & inclusive the team really are.”

As Private Client Administrative Business Partner, Lauren Clare supports the leadership team across all locations. This includes – but isn’t limited to – diary management, co-ordinating meetings, and taking meeting minutes, in addition to leading Traction. During Lauren’s time at Sagars, she has also been involved with the integration of new systems and developing processes to accommodate the approach of cross-office working. Part of this has been adapting the client onboarding process to work for the Sagars team.

Lauren also monitors the planning board in Leeds, which consists of moving around and informing the team of the work allocated to them for the upcoming weeks and approving/adding holidays to the board.

In addition to coordinating meetings, Lauren organises the department’s quarterly Townhalls, and helps the team by training them on new systems, collating department feedback, and working with leadership to create actions that can be delivered back to the team. She also helps with general administration duties such as creating presentations, formatting documents, and distributing reports.

HELPFUL & HONEST

“To me, an ideal relationship with a colleague would be built on respect, trust, and open communication. I think colleagues expect me to be helpful, honest, and approachable. As well as this, I think they would expect me to take on feedback and work on providing efficient solutions.”

LEARNING SKILLS

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working and getting to know the backgrounds and interests of all the different members of the team. It’s been a great experience learning new skills and being able to help out where possible.”

GETTING TO KNOW THE WIDER TEAM

“I’ve had to embrace working virtually and face-to-face with colleagues as although I’m based in Leeds and come in the office most days, a lot of the time I work with members from all locations over Teams and emails. I do prefer seeing people face-to-face, especially after COVID, however working virtually has not limited my role in the slightest. I would say it’s actually helped me get to know the wider team rather than just members in my location.”

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

“I’m excited to be a part of a company that is constantly evolving as it means that new opportunities will arise. I’m also looking forward to growing on a personal level and I believe using the AAB Group Values will help me do this.”

A FRIENDLY TEAM

“One of the AAB Group Values we have an ethos of positivity, enthusiasm, and fun – this value stood out to me as I recognised it from the day that I had my interview. AAB Group is incredibly friendly. As time has progressed, I’ve experienced how positive and inclusive the team really are. Working in the office amongst the team and various socials have made me realise how important it is to have fun with the people you work with, as this has created a happy work environment and made me grateful for the job I have and the people I work with.”

APPROACHABLE & DEPENDABLE

“I believe my greatest strengths that I bring to Sagars are my ability to be versatile, trustworthy, and dependable.

The greatest compliment I received from a colleague was that they found me “approachable, knowledgeable and helpful and have so far been a fantastic and most welcome addition to the Team.””
