If you’re a qualified accountant, tax adviser or trusts practitioner with a passion for supporting clients, then we’d love to hear from you.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a qualified professional to join our award-winning and highly regarded team in Leeds.  As one of Yorkshire’s leading, independent trust and private client teams, we can guarantee you the chance to further your career surrounded by supportive, high-calibre professionals in a firm that has a unique, collaborative culture and client-focus at its heart.

To make it onto the Sagars team you’ll need to be a natural relationship builder and an enthusiastic team player with energy, commitment, a thirst for knowledge and a good sense of humour – if this sounds like you then you’ll fit right in, and that matters to us just much as your solid technical capabilities.  Competition is tough, so you’ll need to be qualified by the ACA, CTA and/or STEP and have strong trust tax experience.  The role would also suit personal tax specialists who do some trust work and are seeking to specialise in trusts.

The opportunity

In this client-facing role, you will provide high-level advisory and compliance work for your own portfolio of trust clients of mixed complexity. Responsible for advising clients regarding planning, you will proactively manage their tax affairs, undertake a broad range of trust accounts and trust administration duties.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake advisory work alongside experienced partners and senior managers. You will be responsible for reviewing work, including trust accounts, and will be encouraged to develop your own network of contacts and to identify business development opportunities.

With interesting and varied clients, we can guarantee that you’ll never be bored!
