    Who we can help

    How we can help

Far from just completing tax returns for more than 2,000 clients; we have a large team of private client specialists, dealing with everything from simple returns to complex family arrangements involving trusts and investment companies.

We do more than just completing and submitting tax returns. Alongside the standard personal tax compliance services we provide our dedicated team of personal tax specialists also provide tax advice that is both reliable and realistic, to ensure you are fully compliant and in the best position possible. We have a team of technical specialists; our advice and support is bespoke and tailored to your individual needs.

Personal tax is complex and, with continual changes to both capital and income taxes, it’s important that you know how much you have to pay and when to pay it.

Our advice will consider how the different taxes interact and take into account the full picture of your unique circumstances:

  • Business & investment interests
  • Any overseas activities
  • Family & future plans

The existing relationships we’ve built up with HMRC means you can rely on us to manage any dealings with them on your behalf. And, if you choose to take advantage of our fee protection insurance scheme, you’ll have peace of mind and vital support in the event of any HMRC enquiries.

We can ensure an efficient service and a safe pair of hands to meet deadlines and provide you with the best tax planning solutions to meet your needs. A combination of technical expertise, experience and effective use of IT help us to provide our clients with the right advice at the right time.

We’re keen to make sure that your personal financial position is the best it can be – both now and in the future. Together with looking at tax planning opportunities which may be available to you and, if you ask us to, we’ll also liaise directly with your personal financial advisers or introduce you to other appropriate professionals.

One aspect which may be relevant to your planning is how trusts can be used to help protect family assets. Visit our trusts and estates page to find out how you could benefit from this area of our expertise.

Our clients have a dedicated team looking after them and their affairs. With a key contact for each client, they have peace of mind knowing that we’re available and ready to help whenever they need us.

We give our clients the detailed understanding needed to make effective decisions regarding their personal tax position, be it for income tax, capital gains tax or inheritance tax. Every family is different and we tailor our advice accordingly – we have never promoted tax schemes (although we can help in negotiations with HMRC) and our advice is based on maximising use of genuine reliefs.
